British indie–rock–pop outfit My Glass World return with a new standalone single, ‘River Of Light’, released on 27 February via Luxury Noise Records.

Described by Jamie Telford as “another track from an unreleased ‘Covid’ album that deserves to be heard”, the song comes from a body of work written during that period but never formally released. Now revisited, it arrives with renewed relevance and clarity.

In contrast to the darker propulsion of recent material, River Of Light carries a more upbeat and expansive feel. It moves with purpose — melodic, rhythmic and forward-leaning — while retaining the atmosphere and lyrical directness that define My Glass World’s sound.

The accompanying video reflects that sense of motion and illumination. City lights at night, flowing traffic, a ferris wheel turning against the skyline and fireworks breaking through the darkness create a visual landscape shaped by light in movement — energy continuing, even in uncertain times.

Recorded at Famous Times Studios, the track features:

Jamie Telford – Vocals / Keyboards / Guitars

Sean Read – Backing Vocals

Jon Kensington – Bass Guitar

Martyn Kaine – Drums

Little Barrie – Guitars

Together, the musicians bring cohesion and lift to a song that was once set aside but never lost its spark.

As with all My Glass World releases, River Of Light stands independently — thoughtful yet immediate, reflective yet driven. A song written in isolation now finds its place in the present.
